Pantel Technologies launches of India’s first 2G SIM Slot Tablet PC, the Penta T-Pad WS703C. The tablet is powered with Cortex A8 processor at a clock speed of 1.2 GHz paired with 512 MB of RAM and runs on Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.


The tablet sports 7 inch multi touch capacitive touch screen display at a resolution of 800 X 480 pixels, built in 2G SIM slot, supports 3G USB dongle, VGA cameras both rear and front for video calling, 4 GB of internal memory and can be expandable up to 32 GB.


The company has partnered with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), to jointly address the data and ICT needs of Indian consumers by launching attractive data plans. These data plans include the 125 (4GB of 2G data free in 60 days) and 150 (2GB of 3G data free in 60 days).








ZenFocus myZenTAB 773B

Targeting high end consumers and enterprise customers ZenFocus launched a new Android running tablet called myZenTAB 708BH for 7,899 in India.


The ZenFocus myZenTAB 708BH sports a 7 inch capacitive touch screen with 5 point multi touch support. The screen has a resolution of 800 X 480 pixels and built in a solid iron grey metallic shell. It is powered with BoxChip A10 processor supported by Mali-400 graphics processor unit, 512 MB of DDR 3 RAM and runs on Android 4.03 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and also supports Adobe Flash 11.1.


The tablet has a 0.3 mega pixel front facing camera, 8 GB of internal memory and microSD card slot for expanding memory up to 32 GB. In terms of connectivity, it comes with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB and HDMI TV-out support with 1080p. Other notable features include pre installed apps like dictionary, 3D games and wide range of Android apps.




Milagrow Kupa TabTop X11

After launching few Android tablets now Milagrow has stepped into the Windows based tablet market by launching its first Windows 7 running tablet – Milagrow Kupa TabTop X11 in India.


Milagrow Kupa TabTop X11 sports a 10 inch multi-touch display with 1366 x 768 WXGA HD resolution. It is powered with Intel Cedar Trial N2600 Duo-Core processor at a clock speed of 1.6 GHz, 2 GB of RAM and runs on Window 7 operating system (trial version). The tablet also packs 64 GB or 128 GB internal memory, biometric sensor for fingerprint scanning and also comes with in-built SIM card slot to support voice calling feature using cellular network.


Other features include 1.3 megapixel camera on both front and back, connectivity options like Wi-Fi, 3G SIM slot, Bluetooth, USB and HDMI. The company claims the battery will offer up to 10 hours of charge. Milagrow Kupa TabTop X11 comes with an electromagnetic digitizer and digital ink pen. It is priced 54,990 for 64 GB and 66,990 for 128 GB.







Zync Z-999 Plus

Zync Z-999 Plus is the company’s first Android 4.0 ICS tablets.  It comes with 7 inch touch screen display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. Apart from coming equipped with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, the Z-999 plus also has voice calling and 3G capabilities.  The tablet runs on a 1.5GHz single core ARM Cortex A8 processor and 512 MB RAM.


The tablet weighs just a mere 340 grams and measures 8 mm, thus making it the lightest and slimmest tablet within its category.  The device has a 4200 mAh battery which provides satisfactory battery life.


Like most of the tablets that are in the market these days, Z-999 Plus comes with a 2 megapixel back camera and a VGA front camera that supports video calling.  It has HD video playback support, HDMI support and an internal memory of 8GB which is expandable up to 32 GB.


The tablet also has an attached keyboard especially designed for the device. The keyboard is available at a very affordable price. Along with the usual features Z-999 Plus comes with pre-loaded apps like Movie Player, BBC News and Whatsapp messenger.

The Zync Z1000 is powered with Cortex A8 processor at a clock speed of 1.5 GHz coupled with 1 GB of RAM and currently runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, but company promises to upgrade it with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system.


It houses a 9.7 inch IPS panel display with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels resolution. The tablet comes with a SIM card slot for voice calling support and built in 3G. It features 0.3 mega pixel front facing camera, 2 mega pixel rear camera, 8 GB on internal storage, a microSD card slot for expanding memory up to 32 GB. In terms of connectivity it comes with mini HDMI, two micro USB ports, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

California based, Swipe Telecom launched the India’s first Dual-SIM 3G tablet, called – Swipe Tab All in One. The standout feature of the tablet  is its dual SIM capability which allows users to opt for service plans that can optimize their Calling and Data usage.


The tablet sports a 7 inch TFT LCD full high definition capacitive touchscreen display with 5 point multi touch support at a resolution of 1028 X 768 pixels and runs on Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich.


In terms of storage capacity it comes with 8 GB in-built memory, expandable up to 32 GB through microSD card.
